
John Meewella
Prof. Dr. John Meewella is the winner of “2019 China Government Friendship Medal” at National level, “2020 Honorary Labor Medal” Jiangsu Provincial level, & “2017-2018 Nanjing Jinling Friendship Award” in Nanjing city level, People’s Republic of China. They were awarded for his contribution during 2016-2019 globally: i). East-West R&D Secondary-Innovation in setting up Joint Ventures; ii). Quad-Helix embedded entrepreneurial-commercialization of AIG-C Academic-Industry-Government-Community; & iii). Civic-Citizen-Diplomacy efforts in promoting peaceful, mutually beneficial, synergy among international parties. This award – similar to Presidential Medal of Honour in the USA is the highest-level possible recognition by Chinese President Xi Jinping & State Leaders to a foreign citizen in the P.R.C.
John serves as: i). Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) of Medical IoT Kipuwex Oy Finland www.kipuwex.com; ii). Group CEO of MiNiSV Mini Silicon Valley Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Nanjing, China www.minisv.com; where he is responsible for rapid entrepreneurial commercialisation of ~80 East-West innovation companies being set up currently in Jiangbei New Area Free Trade Zone / Silicon Valley specialising on medical tech, healthcare, cancer diagnostics, innovation, agriculture-food and related fields; & iii). as Professor of Entrepreneurship in NiBS Nobel International Business School, Accra, Ghana affiliated with Swiss Business School, Switzerland incl. doctoral supervising, Executive & Government level leadership development. John’s academic qualifications include: 2 PhDs level, 6 Masters level, & multiple other Bachelor, Diploma, Certifications from Universities, Applied Sciences, & Vocational Institutes globally. He is currently pursuing his third Doctoral research in the area of Silicon Valley mutual synergy between East & West.
John’s previous roles spanning around 25 years of experience includes: ~20 Chairman/President/CEO positions (Corporate); several Vice Rector, Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Dean positions (Academic). He was awarded: “Akoun Entrepreneurial Award 2010” by Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development support, Abu Dhabi, UAE; {for co-Founding Emirates Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship & multiple start-up growth}; & the “Most cooperating-supporting individual 2008-2009” status by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed (Dubai, UAE), Mwarid Finance: Tamaiaz Entrepreneurial Challenge; {for appreciation of contribution to entrepreneurial developments including nurturing 100s of entrepreneurs, ventures+ in Gulf region}. His current responsibilities span across multiple roles in various entrepreneurial, investment, academic, corporate, & governmental sectors.
